How It All Began: The Connection to INFIVITY Labs
The Internship That Changed Everything
My journey toward INFIVITY Labs didn't start at INFIVITY itself. In the last days of Baisakh 2082, I joined a tech company in Damak, Jhapa as an AI training intern. The role was focused on training students in artificial intelligence, and it seemed like the perfect entry point into the tech education space. I spent about three months there, absorbing knowledge, understanding how to communicate complex tech concepts to learners, and building my network within the Jhapa tech community.
During those three months, something special happened, I met Mr. Anup Timsina, an incredibly passionate entrepreneur with a vision for tech education. His energy, ambition, and innovative thinking stood out. We connected over our shared belief that technology should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background. Little did I know that this meeting would become the catalyst for the next chapter of my career.
The Birth of an Opportunity
When Mr. Anup Timsina decided to establish INFIVITY Labs, he extended an invitation for me to join his founding team. I didn't hesitate. This was a chance to be part of something from the ground up, to shape the culture, build the products, and directly impact the learning journeys of students across Jhapa.
That's how I became part of the INFIVITY Labs family.
Understanding INFIVITY: More Than Just a Name
You might have noticed the unique spelling of "INFIVITY" and yes, it's intentional, not a typo of "Infinity."
INFIVITY is a beautiful blend of two concepts: Infinity and Creativity. The name perfectly encapsulates the organization's mission: to provide a space where the infinite creativity hidden within children can flourish and be nurtured. It's not just about teaching code; it's about unlocking human potential.

For Pathibhara Enterprises, it meant transitioning from manual bookkeeping to a modern, digital accounting system.
What I Learned:
Working on AccountEase taught me the importance of understanding client business processes deeply. Accounting software demands precision, security, and user-friendliness. I learned how to design databases that maintain referential integrity, create APIs that handle financial transactions safely, and build interfaces that even non-technical users can navigate confidently.
Project 2: SNP Clinic – Healthcare Made Digital
SNP Clinic is our second major project, a healthcare web application that brings medical services into the digital age.
What It Does:
SNP Clinic is a healthcare platform that serves doctors and medical professionals. The primary feature allows doctors to add and manage blog posts—educational content about health, treatments, and wellness. This transforms the clinic's ability to provide value beyond in-person consultations, establishing the doctor as a thought leader while educating patients.
The platform serves as a bridge between medical professionals and patients, creating a space for knowledge sharing and patient engagement.
My Contribution:
I handled the entire project, from conceptualization to deployment. This end-to-end responsibility gave me visibility into every aspect of web application development:
Gathering requirements and understanding the client's vision
Architecting the system to handle user management, content creation, and data security
Building the backend API with Django
Creating an intuitive frontend interface
Deploying and maintaining the application
Impact:
For SNP Clinic, this platform democratizes health information and allows them to build trust with patients through educational content. For me, it reinforced that I can own a project from start to finish.
What I Learned:
This project taught me about the healthcare domain—the importance of data privacy (especially with patient information), compliance considerations, and how to design systems that prioritize user experience for both doctors and patients. I also learned the value of clear communication with clients and the importance of iterative feedback.
The Teaching Journey: Mentoring the Next Generation
Being a coding mentor has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of my journey at INFIVITY Labs.
Students Impacted: 25-50 Learners
I've had the privilege of teaching between 25-50 students web development, primarily focusing on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Each student comes with different backgrounds, learning paces, and aspirations. Some are exploring tech for the first time; others are determined to build a career in web development.
Teaching Philosophy
My approach to teaching web development is rooted in a few core principles:
Learn by Building – Rather than abstract theory, students learn by creating real projects. Starting with simple websites, progressing to interactive web applications.
Demystify Technology – I make it a point to explain not just "how" to code, but "why" we structure code a certain way. Understanding the reasoning builds confidence.
Encourage Experimentation – I create a safe space where mistakes are learning opportunities. Breaking things and fixing them is part of the journey.
Celebrate Progress – Whether it's a student's first successful HTML structure or their first interactive JavaScript function, we celebrate wins. These moments build momentum.
Common Challenges and Solutions
Teaching web development to beginners, I've noticed recurring challenges:
Getting Started Paralysis – Many students feel overwhelmed by the vastness of web development. Solution: Start with tangible, small projects.
Understanding Asynchronous JavaScript – This is a conceptual hurdle for many. Solution: Use real-world analogies (ordering food at a restaurant, for example) to explain async concepts.
Debugging Frustration – When code doesn't work, students often feel stuck. Solution: Teach systematic debugging approaches and encourage reading error messages carefully.
Imposter Syndrome – Students doubt their capabilities. Solution: Regular check-ins, mentorship, and exposure to what professionals at their level are doing.
2082: A Year of Growth and Historic Moments
The Gen-Z Protest: A Witness to Change
During my time at INFIVITY Labs in 2082, I witnessed one of the most significant civic movements in recent memory, the Gen-Z Protest against corruption.
The youth of Damak, and indeed across the nation, took to the streets. Young people, energized by a desire for transparency, accountability, and systemic change, organized protests and demonstrations. The energy was palpable; the commitment was inspiring. While these protests didn't directly impact INFIVITY Labs' operations, they were a reminder of something important: the generation we're educating at INFIVITY Labs will be the change-makers of tomorrow.
Being part of INFIVITY Labs during this movement gave me a unique perspective. Here we were, building technical skills and nurturing creativity, while witnessing young people exercise their civic responsibility. It felt like we were playing a small but meaningful role in preparing the next generation to not just build technology, but to use it responsibly and contribute to society.
The INFIVITY Bootcamp: A Milestone Celebration
At the end of 2082, INFIVITY Labs organized an intensive bootcamp that brought together over 30+ students. The bootcamp spanned multiple domains:
Robotics – Hands-on sessions teaching automation and robotics
Coding – Intensive web and programming modules
AI – Introduction to artificial intelligence concepts
Arts – Digital arts and design workshops
This bootcamp was a testament to INFIVITY Labs' commitment to providing comprehensive tech education. For me, coordinating and mentoring during the bootcamp was exhausting but incredibly rewarding. I watched students from different backgrounds come together, learn from each other, and build friendships around shared technical interests.
The Year-End Celebration
As 2082 drew to a close, INFIVITY Labs organized a special one-day excursion to a nearby scenic spot. After months of intensive work, building projects, mentoring students, conducting bootcamps—this day of relaxation and celebration was perfect. It reinforced the importance of team bonding and celebrating milestones together.
Technical Growth: From Fundamentals to Mastery
Skills Developed
2082 was a year of significant technical growth for me:
Backend Development with Django and REST API – I deepened my understanding of building robust server-side applications. I learned about middleware, authentication systems, API versioning, and deployment best practices.
RESTful API Design – Building APIs that are intuitive, secure, and performant became second nature. I learned to think from the client's perspective when designing endpoints.
Full-Stack Development – Working on projects end-to-end gave me a comprehensive view of how frontend and backend systems interact. I appreciate both domains more deeply now.
Mobile Development with Flutter – Flutter's efficiency and cross-platform capabilities impressed me. I learned to think about responsive design and mobile-first approaches.
Non-Technical Growth: The Equally Important Skills
Communication and Confidence
Teaching coding to 25-50 students forced me to develop communication skills. Explaining complex concepts in simple terms, listening to student concerns, and being patient with questions—these skills have made me a better engineer and a better team member.
Leadership Development
Coordinating the bootcamp, managing project timelines, and mentoring students has given me glimpses of leadership. I've learned that leading isn't about having all the answers; it's about creating an environment where team members (and students) feel supported and empowered.
Patience and Empathy
Working with students of varying backgrounds and learning paces taught me patience. Everyone's journey is different. This empathy extends to my work with colleagues as well.
